How much did tha thing cost?

Would you care to share that paragraph with the rest of the class in that case?

Are accuracy and relevance calculable?

Would Kagi be spending money on these partners if they weren’t relatively certain it was improving their product?

What does uBlock Origin say in response to this? They had a TestFlight debut but i dont know anything beyond that

uBlock Origin Lite had a TestFlight and now works fine as a Safari extension on iOS.

uBlock Origin never claimed their Firefox extension works in Orion. So I don't think they need to respond.

Origin and Origin Lite are by the same developer.

Well, yes. I never said otherwise. But he is not the one to respond.

Instead I'd like a reply from the Orion PM, because they are the ones throwing around seemingly misleading claims about their product.

I recently needed to download Orion on a new computer and I couldnt find it in the AppStore.

No problem directly downloading from the source (arguably better cuz I can keep the installer) but is there a reason Apple isnt allowing Orion on the AppStore or was that a choice on Kagi's part?

This headline ("looking to") seems to soften the previous headlines I've seen about this. Is this a proclamation or a public negotiation???

Do you think this pivot-middle idea is generalizable to other domains?

What is the logic or context that allows them such latitude and autonomy or to even conceptually exist at all? Are they specialized in such a way that they are qualified and expected to focus on higher-quality problems or difficult to hire for or they maybe dont have to deal directly with people in some sense

How does one become sufficiently shrewd to capitalize or orient oneself towards that Golidlocks zone?

I saw someone like this just get made redundant - they talked a good game and did enough to cement themselves in the organisation, then ended up reporting into a manager who was already over capacity so didn't have the bandwidth to chase up a guy who wasn't causing him any trouble.

It was a good run then. Now that guy will run in another organization.

To be clear, the book makes it very clear that Tyren was a bad person, and a bad manager, and that what he is doing is not something people should aspire to.

As far as logic and context? Every system has a place for... maybe "parasite" isn't a particularly good term, but there are places where one could get lost in the basement - hopefully with their favorite stapler.

> Some folks just have to find a way both through the world and through their own head

You need to stop seeing me so hard rn

Whatever they are living of needs to be equalized so they are taxed irl much the same as a normal person. They often get away with this by getting ultra low interest loans backed by their holdings as collateral and living off credit.

That needs to change. They need to feel the same taxation everyone else has, it makes it harder to survive and they need to live by the same sword
