Congress needs to learn about atomic commits!

And git blame!

Hey dools, these two images are broken for me:

Instead of splitting up the task of templating in the following, arbitrary fashion: [broken]

We can create a non-arbitrary, completely objective separation where the view/template layer truly contains no logic what so ever: [broken]

Cool article; made me think about how I've been handling views. I think I agree with you, but I'll need to mull it over for a while. Thanks!

He has hotlinked to ditaa.org and that server has fallen over.

Yeah unfortunately - I didn't actually mean to do that. I don't even have a cached copy of those images :(

I heard rumors about some tablet PC Apple was supposed to make, called the iSlate. Too bad nothing ever came of that.

Upon hearing this, jarek was enlightened.

Rent is due tomorrow. You have $3.

> Now just to find some way to buy the book ...

Library.

It's an option. The local library will order books for a charge. The charge is about what we spend on entertainment for a week. Probably ebay would be as cost effective once you factor in travel cost. I can walk the couple of miles but not really with the kid(s).

If I know your name, this makes it much more easy to deduce your drivers license number.

It’s the same ideology that says progressivism is dead, despite that today’s yellow journalism is watered down, there’s no traditional war between organized countries, sanitation’s up, and we’re getting further along with promoting resource equality in LDCs.

Not only that, but there’s complete ennui in living. I can go out in most parts of the world at night without worry of being beaten, killed or enslaved; the corner market to get fresh broccoli in winter. All of the programmers I know want to buy a house, settle down, and work an unpleasant job in an unfriendly country, when the internet allows any of us to pick up and move and still work.

Welcome to the age of pessimism and cynicism. Also, bedbugs. Just because America is sliding doesn’t mean the world is doomed.

Well, dang, who isn't -- Google, I guess?
