`XBlade` is a significant expansion of `xlibre-xserver` with actual pixel-isolated sandboxing and gated property access, ensuring a non-root client cannot interact with windows it doesn't own. This namespacing is enabled by default, while the server at large was developed and tested on an AMD-NVIDIA system (Asus Zephyrus G14) from 2021 atop Gentoo Linux. I intend to test it on other systems, but have received good word about it thus far. Treat her kindly; I'm just one girl.
We're winning, man. Vixen is a fork of Ratpoison with minimal bugs and a close adherence to what Ratpoison aspired to be: the ACTUAL "antidesktop". There's really no difference as it regards UX, but there is a greater focus on performance and cleanup in the unseen layers. By default, it includes "warpd", a keyboard-controlled pointer program, "windchime", a functional, extremely small notification daemon, and "owl", a basic screenshot and screen capture tool, all of which were written in pure C for X11, which means Xlibre therein. I'm on the fence about whether or not it's bloatware, but many of the programs are here because they are, again, very tiny and help a lot with getting started. You could edit the Makefile of contrib/ to your liking and easily be rid of them. Any issues? Don't worry. I won't Sway you to death. Make a merge/push req and I'll read it myself.
