I have a trifling complaint about this, which is that it smacks of LLM aid throughout, especially in headings. I wish people would aggressively filter for these things--I have a technical writing SKILL.md that tries to remove all the AI tropes it finds and use simplified technical English (it's a thing, look it up) to do docs, and that makes one heck of a difference...

You can spoof MACs all you want, but your MAC is tied to the address I give out. What happens if you spoof addresses? FAFO...

If you have one, can't you just look at the router to the MAC being reported?

I'm not the one claiming TVs actively spoof their MAC address. Its on the person making claims to provide evidence.

I've had several conversations about this over the years, usually about the EU and how they keep harping on Apple (for instance) because it's a highly visible brand while they completely ignore LG (and others) and their massive data collection devices that (by the way) are in every single European institution.

And many government officials' households, too.
