I see you've been downvoted, but this statement is true. Ubuntu on both servers and desktop is far more popular than debian. Popular is not always a good proxy for better, but in this case following a well tread path is advantageous when you run into trouble.
Is there anything Ubuntu-specific in Ubuntu these days (other than process stuff, like release cycle)? Or is it just Debian with commercial support and branding?
