Misses the point in a big way, by randomly intermixing degree/credential requirements and over-credential requirements. There is no requirement in any state that a retail salesperson or stock clerk has a college degree, that's the private market doing what it does. And there are definitely rent-setting licensing, such as of florists in some states.
But I see the work ethic of native-born Americans in work on my home, and filters that weed out the morning alcoholics are lacking.
